1. What do I get when I join the Sewyeah Social Club?

As a member, you’ll receive a beautifully designed embroidery project PDF every month, along with step-by-step instructions, stitch tutorials, and bonus motifs. You’ll also gain access to the Virtual Sewyeah Clubhouse, a monthly live video club night, bonus loyalty points and discounts on past projects.

2. Are the projects beginner-friendly?
Yes! Each project is designed to appeal to both beginners and experienced stitchers. Templates and step by step photographic and written instructions make it easy for newcomers, while advanced stitch tutorials and customization options keep things exciting for seasoned crafters.

3. Do I need to buy materials, or are they included?
Materials are not included, allowing you to choose your own colour palettes and make use of supplies you already have. Each project is designed with sustainability in mind, so you’re encouraged to source felt, threads, beads, and sequins second-hand or from your stash.

4. How long does each project take to complete?
Most projects can be completed in an afternoon, but they’re flexible enough to fit into a busy schedule, easily pick-up and put-downable!  You’ll also find suggestions for how to adapt and expand each design for additional creative fun.

5. How much does it cost to join?
For the launch, Founder Member pricing is available on your first subscription cycle:

• Quarterly: £20 (3 months for the price of 2)

• Biannual: £50 (6 months for the price of 5)

• Annual: £100 (12 months for the price of 10)

These prices will automatically change on the 1st of January 2025 to £30 per quarter, £55 Biannually, £110 annually.  I will also be introducing a monthly rolling subscription at £10 a month.

An example subscription timeline would look like this

• Join by January 1st 2025 to immediately receive the Elf Portraits project as part of your welcome pack.

• January 17th 2025 : Your first official project will be sent (January pattern).

• Subsequent months: You'll receive a new project on the 17th of each month.

Subscription Renewal: After your initial term, your subscription will automatically renew on the 17th of your renewal month (at the regular rate of £10 a month or £30 a quarter £55 biannually and £110 annually ) unless cancelled.

6. What’s included in the welcome pack for early subscribers?
Subscribers who join by January 1st 2025 will receive a bonus embroidery project called Elf Portraits and five festive embroidery motifs, plus a set of Founder Member badge templates to enjoy before the official subscription begins in January.

7. Can I gift a membership to someone else?
A Sewyeah Social Club membership makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves to craft or is looking for a relaxing, mindful hobby.  I hope to offer gift subscriptions automatically in the future. If you would like to gift a subscription to someone during this initial beta phase. Please message me and I will work out how to do it.

8. When will I receive my first project?
If you subscribe between the 29th of November 2024 and the 1st of January 2025 you will receive a welcome pack with the Elf Portraits embroidery project and 5 Festive Embroidery Motifs in. Your first project of 2025 will be with you on the 17th of January.  THE SUBSCRIPTION CYCLE If you subscribe before the 17th of a month, your first project will arrive on the 17th. If you join after the 17th, your subscription will start the following month.

9. What happens if I want to cancel my subscription?
If you cancel during your subscription period, you’ll retain access to all projects and benefits until the end of that period. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled by you before the next cycle begins. This is easy to do when you login to the site and access “My Subscriptions”.

10. Are children or families able to join?
The designs are intended for adults, but they’re great for crafting with children aged 12 and older. The finished projects contain small parts, so they’re not suitable as toys for young children.

11. How does the Virtual Sewyeah Clubhouse work?
The Clubhouse is a special members only area on the Sewyeah.co.uk website where members can share photos of their projects, ask questions, and chat with other crafters. It’s a supportive and friendly community, perfect for inspiration and connection.

12. How can I access the Clubhouse? Is it through Facebook, Discord, or another platform?
The Virtual Sewyeah Clubhouse is hosted in a private section on the Sewyeah.co.uk website. You will be provided with the details before the official launch date of the 17th of January. It’s easy to access and designed to be a safe, welcoming space for members to share, learn, and connect.

13. What if I miss a live video session?
Don’t worry! All live sessions are recorded and made available for you to watch at your convenience. Whether you join live or catch up later, you’ll always have access to the tutorials and community discussions.

14. Can I purchase individual projects without subscribing?
Yes, individual projects will be available in the Sewyeah shop for £8 each. However, subscribing gives you exclusive perks like extra motifs, discounts, and access to the Virtual Clubhouse, making it the best value!

15. Will the projects work with other materials besides 100% wool felt?
While the designs are optimized for 100% wool felt, you can experiment with other felt mixes and materials. I love 100% wool felt as it is strong and a joy to sew. You can unpick and restitch sections without it going bobbly or stretching out of shape. Other felts may be thinner and less fun to work with. I am always looking for good vegan alternatives to wool felt, so if you know of any do let me know!

16. What if I don’t have time to complete a project every month?
That’s okay! The projects are designed to be bite-sized and manageable, but there’s no pressure to keep up. You can save the downloads and complete them whenever it fits your schedule. They’ll always be yours to revisit.

17. Do I need a sewing machine?
No sewing machine is required! All projects are designed to be hand-stitched, making them perfect for relaxing, portable crafting sessions. BUT if you are adept with a sewing machine you can alway experiment with larger versions of the templates. Let me know how you get on!

18. How DO I Print MY TEMPLATES?All the templates are designed to be printed out at 100% on both UK A4 and US letter.
